Maintaining the common lot and road-way will require neighborhood association dues of $25/mo.

No overhead outdoor lighting

No chain link fencing

Maximum 10% loss of woodland for housesites

Square footage and height limitations

Earthcraft or LEED for Homes guidlines encouraged but not mandatory

House & site plans will be submitted to neighborhood association for review

Each lot will have it's own well and septic (not included in lot price)

Setback stipulations to ensure privacy and aesthetic appeal to entire project

Contracts

After a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, I finally have lot 6 under contract. I will have lot 4 under contract at the end of the month. These lots will be partially cleared next week. Water wells, septic systems, and electrical lines will be installed shortly thereafter. It would be a great time to come out and look around as lot 4 and 6 will be much easier to view after clearing. If you are interested in one of the remaing 7 lots, you can get a better idea of how your lot would look like after minimal clearing. Hope to see you on the farm!

I've done better than that, I sold a lot last week! The buyer has purchased a Clayton Home's Ihouse. to put on his lot. It's a prefab sustainably built home. The buyer is adding solar panels, a wind turbine, and a geothermal heat pump. It will be a net zero energy house. No electric bill!

Thanks. I have a few pics of the Ihouse in my photo section. I plan to post more later today or tomorrow. The Lady buying lot four will build a more traditional looking house but it will also be very energy efficient.

The lots are all going for $50000.00 each. Along with lot ownership you will co-own the community properties which include the roads and the community lot where the pond is. All of the lots are within walking distance of the organic community garden and orchard. Instead of a golf course at the center of the community, we have an organic farm!
